Excellent result, my old M9 now has a great trigger. Thanks Ernest!
** We have brought back the Beretta Elite 2 Hammer and the Beretta Match Hammer in our trigger jobs in a bag for a limited time while we await our next batch of LTT Optimized Performance Hammers to arrive**
After several thousand trigger jobs on Beretta 92s and PX4s, Langdon Tactical Technology offers the "Trigger Job in a Bag." We polish and hand-stone all of the components that are part of the firing mechanism to smooth and lighten your trigger pull in DA/SA. The Trigger Job in a Bag is about 80% of what we do when we don't have the actual firearms. You can also do a full NP3 upgrade to your pistol that includes a "Trigger Job," with this kit. In August 2025, LTT switched over to a newly designed optimized performance hammer to optimize total trigger job performance in every way with improved sear notch geometry, reduced pre-travel distance, faster lock time, and better firing pin indent with lighter hammer springs. We believe this kit set-up gives you the best Trigger Job Performance and stand behind this hammer design, which has been over a year in development and manufacturing.
PLEASE NOTE:
This kit MAY require some fitting for proper install and function - please watch the install guide video on the "Videos" tab of this page prior to purchase - we recommend that this kit be installed by a competent gunsmith.

Excellent result, my old M9 now has a great trigger. Thanks Ernest!
I just got my Beretta 92X back from the gunsmith today, and the Langdon 'Trigger Job in a Bag' that he installed transformed this gun from one that I was about ready to sell, to one that will now remain in my collection. The trigger pull is silky smooth, considerably lighter, and the reset is just about perfect. Thank you, Langdon Tactical!
Easy to install and ended up with 6 lb. 7oz double and a 3.6 for the single
My order took around month to get processed, but... the wait time was worth it. I also understand that due to that over hyped virus waiting times have increased for everything. But man, was it worth it. I went with the lightest spring and haven't had any light primer strikes whatsoever. Reliability doesn't seem to have been affected whatsoever, and now I have an amazing double action trigger pull, and the best reset I've ever felt on a gun. Who'd have thought a Beretta 92 would one day be the king of the reset. Also, Ernest Langdon is a Beretta wizard, so his installment video is lacking because he isn't very thorough since a lot of this is second nature to him. Look up MosinVirus videos on Youtube in regards to the Beretta full detailed strip and assembly and just switch out the parts as you go. I did chose the NP3 parts.
Installed on first try with help from the video. Anyone with reasonable mechanical skills ought to be able to do it, but some level of patience is a must. The feel in both DA and SA dry firing is GREAT...so much better than stock...waiting for weather to improve to get some range time in.
I bought the trigger job in a bag to install in my Beretta 92X full size. The results are fantastic! The DA pull is smooth and the SA is light and crisp! I am very satisfied with my purchase!
I was having gritty trigger action near the end of each double-action trigger pull on my new Beretta M9A1. Also, too much take-up and reset distance. I had already installed a 14# hammer spring. This made the trigger pull lighter, but it still had poor trigger action. I requested help from LTT. I was recommended to try the TJIB to remedy my issues. I installed a 13# TJIB. Unbelievable difference. Trigger action is as smooth as glass now all the way through double-action pulls. It used to have about 3/8" reset to feel the click before pulling again for the next single-action shot , now it is about 1/8". Awesome. Thank you LTT.
I was dubious as to whether I could do this myself; it took a while, but everything fit perfect, and the video guidance was perfect. Works like a charm, and drastically improved the trigger on my M9A1.
My new M9a3 came with a DA pull of 9, and a SA of 4.5-5. After installing the new parts, the DA pull is below 7 (about the same as my G34 with ZEV parts), and the SA is 3.5-4, very crisp with minimal overtravel and a quick reset. I haven't been to the range since the installation, but I expect to be very happy with the new parts.
