Trigger Job in a Bag - 92/96/M9 Series

Posted by Guy on Oct 11th 2020

This is hands down the best upgrade for the 92FS. The trigger is significantly better in DA and SA. It really feels like a completely different gun. I would say pay close attention to the direction of the sear spring. Don't be an idiot like me and put it in backwards! Once the spring was reinstalled correctly, the gun shot beautifully. Mr.Langdon has an installation video as well which is efficient and very logical. I would have saved myself some trouble by watching it first!

rigger Job in a Bag - 92/96/M9 Series

Posted by Guy on Oct 9th 2020

Initially excited to install the trigger job in a bag and run my 92FS in competition. Currently experiencing erratic return to DA when gun should be in SA after firing first round. Additionally, after gun returns to SA, bursts of 3 rounds will fire, then return to semi-auto. Definitely an issue, awaiting a call back form Tech Support. Will update review upon resolution. LTT Response; Hi Guy, we gave you a call back and left a voicemail. You put the sear spring in backwards, that is why the gun is going auto. Once switched and in the correct position, you're all set! If you are still having trouble installing it correctly, we recommend you contact a local gunsmith to help you install it.

The trigger job makes the double action feel so much smoother and the reset is short and crisp. A few hundred rounds through the gun after installation and I’m very pleased.

I ordered and installed the TJIAB for my new 92FS. Really smooth. I’m kinda handy which helped navigate the nice but kinda lame Ernest YouTube video. If you get stuck (“which way does that tiny spring go that Ernest flipped in the gun but didn’t actually show us?!” ), there are other part-by-part 92 videos by others on YouTube to find that help immensely. It’s a costly upgrade but a HUGE positive difference. It’s legit folks. Thanks Ernest & team!

    TJIAB A+

Posted by Andrew Lindsey on Sep 22nd 2020

Absolutely amazing, no problem fitting into the gun a 92x. I don't have any way to measure the pull but the #13 spring feels slightly lighter than stock but leagues smoother. The trigger feels like butter and my wife said as much too, reset is crisp and single action is sharp and light. The TJIAB is the best trigger I've ever felt and now I've got an itch for an LTT elite.

    Amazing upgrade

Posted by James on Sep 21st 2020

Purchased to install on a 92 Inox compact 9mm. Parts in the kit are very high quality. Install is very straight forward. Made a huge difference in DA nd SA trigger pull. Really took my 92 to a new level.

    TJIAB

Posted by Brian on Sep 16th 2020

Bought as an upgrade for my old early 90s 92fs. DA pull has near zero slack, just a long smooth pull. The trigger resets within millimeters for SA and breaks very nicely. I wish I'd done this a long time ago, it's a great value in my opinion. Install was simple with just the sear and the sear spring giving any challenge. None of my girlfriend's crochet needles were both deep enough and small enough to lift the trigger return spring, so I just used a paperclip with a little hook bent on the end. Worked like a charm.
