PX4 Chrome Silicon Hammer Spring

The Ultimate Reduced Power Hammer Spring for the Beretta PX4 and Beretta 92 Series pistols. This 11lb hammer spring will significantly reduce the DA pull weight and has been hand polished to better allow the spring to smoothly rotate in the hammer spring cup.

FAQ's about the 10# Hammer Spring:

Q: What will my pull-weights be with the 10# Hammer Spring and LTT Trigger Work?

A: Double-Action: 6 to 6.5lbs. (It will likely take 3-4 lbs off the DA over the factory full power spring)

Single-Action: .5lb REDUCTION depending on what trigger work has/has not been done. This will vary based on your firearm and what you have done to it.

Q: Is the 10# Hammer Spring reliable to carry with?

A: The 10# hammer spring has been reliable for us in our testing. All ammunition used was US manufactrued ammunition, as well as some NATO Spec ammo. Please note, reliability may vary with european or non NATO spec ammunition, as well as reloads with tougher primers. With the right ammo, it will be reliable for carry or duty use. We reccomend testing the ammo you would like to carry first before commiting to the lighter spring.

**If purchasing for the 92, we recommend using the 11# hammer spring for competition only. We do not recommend the 10# hammer spring for the 92/M9/96 series pistols at all**

    10# PX4 Hammer Spring

Posted by Douglas Proctor on May 8th 2024

I measured the before and after trigger pull with a Nidec 3007 force gauge. With the original spring a ten shot D/A avg. was 10.521 lb/ft with a S/A avg. of 4.93 lb/ft. With the 10# Langdon spring a ten shot D/A avg. was 8.89 lb/ft with a S/A avg. of 4.605 lb/ft. The trigger feels significantly smoother in D/A. Overall I'm pretty happy with the results even though I did think that the trigger pull would be even lighter.

    PX4 - lighter is better!

Posted by Jonathan H on Dec 20th 2021

I have the lightest recoil and hammer springs in all of my beretta firearms. I’ve never had one issue and have instead enjoyed the smoothest and softest triggers pulls imaginable!

Steady consistant pull. Dramaticaly improve the double action pull. Easier to stay on target. Doesnt stiffen up at the end like the fsctory wieght spring.

Better than the Beretta "D" spring

Posted by Roy on Dec 11th 2020

I've had the Beretta "D" hammer spring installed in my 9mm Px4 compact for over 3 years. The double-action trigger pull stacked near the break point requiring more force to finally break the shot. The LTT 11-pound hammer spring has eliminated the stacking. Now the shot just breaks without requiring increasing force on the trigger as you approach the break point. Double-action groups with the 11-pound hammer spring are better compared to the "D" spring. Single action pull was slightly reduced and I experienced a slight improvement in groups when firing single-action. Trigger pull weights are still heavy enough that unintentional or premature shots are not a concern for conceal carry. Today I fired 130 rounds including Speer Gold Dot, Federal American Eagle, Federal HST and Remington brown box training ammo. All rounds fired reliably. I highly recommend this spring to all Beretta Px4 owners.

11# Hammer Spring for 92 Elite LTT

Posted by Bob on Oct 8th 2020

I recently purchased the LTT 92 Elite Compact with the trigger job and while the 13# hammer spring was very nice my damaged and weak arthritic fingers needed an even lighter DA trigger pull. The DA pull went from around 6lbs 3oz to around 5.4oz measured with a Lyman Trigger Gauge.. The SA pull went from around 3lbs 4oz to around 2lbs 14oz. I put 180 rounds with Federal primers through the gun and it ran flawlessly. I also put 180 rounds with CCI primers through it and it also ran flawlessly even though Ernest stated there may be some light primer strikes with harder primers using the 11# hammer spring. I plan on carrying this pistol after I've run a 1000 rounds with no light primer strikes. So far so good.
