We have brought back the Beretta Elite 2 Hammer and the Beretta Match Hammer in our trigger jobs in a bag for a limited time while we await our next batch of LTT Optimized Performance Hammers to arrive

After several thousand trigger jobs on Beretta 92s and PX4s, Langdon Tactical Technology offers the Trigger Job in a Bag. We polish and hand-stone all of the components that are part of the firing mechanism to smooth and lighten your trigger pull in DA and SA. The Trigger Job in a Bag is about 80 percent of what we do when we don't have the actual firearms. You can also do a full NP3 upgrade to your pistol that includes a Trigger Job with this kit. In August 2025, LTT switched over to a newly designed optimized performance hammer to optimize total trigger job performance in every way with improved sear notch geometry, reduced pre-travel distance, faster lock time, and better firing pin indent with lighter hammer springs. We believe this kit set-up gives you the best Trigger Job Performance and stand behind this hammer design, which has been over a year in development and manufacturing.

PLEASE NOTE

This kit MAY require some fitting for proper install and function. Please watch the install guide video on the Videos tab of this page prior to purchase. We recommend that this kit be installed by a competent gunsmith.

This kit is NOT compatible with the 92X Performance, 92XI, or the 92GTS. These pistols must be sent in for custom gun work.

Common FAQ

Customer: I already have these parts, so I don't need everything in this kit.
Answer: Yes, you do need this entire kit. The parts you have, have not been worked on. Yes, the parts started the same, but we do work on the individual parts in the kit for 80 percent of what we can do if we have the gun itself.

Trigger Job in a Bag - 92/96/M9 Series

Installation was quick and easy. The product is everything you have heard. Nice smooth DA pull, SA is nice and light with a crisp let off. I have put several hundred rounds through it since installing the kit, I suck so much less now. I'm stuck in a very restrictive state for firearms, so due to the limited options and familiarity with the M9 I went with the 92FS. I was a ho-hum about the purchase, I now LOVE this pistol.

    Game Changer

I bought Beretta 92FS Inox when I turned 21 because that’s what I knew from when I was in the army. Now that I’ve had more experience with other firearms I realized anything the army gives you is made by the lowest bidder. I wanted to take my beretta to the 21st century of triggers and bought the kit. I was able to install it myself but it took hours, several different instructional videos, and plenty of headache. If you’ve ever assembled an AR from scratch you should be fine but not something I’d recommend to someone who hasn’t ever dealt with detent springs. Once I had everything set the frustration was worth it because it felt like I had a completely different pistol. The double action is as smooth as butter and the single action and reset are perfectly crisp. I’d recommend this to anyone with a stock beretta.

Great if you're new to working on guns

Bought the kit with the Wilson trigger bar as the description (under stand-alone trigger bar) sounded like it would require more fitment to my individual pistol compared to the LTT version, which I prefer. Parts are well polished but are set up for a drop-in fit for most firearms, meaning that some material (we’re talking thousandths here) have already been polished down. In my particular firearm, while the result was smooth and crisp, I did not achieve quite as much hammer arc as I have in the past with individual untreated components. All that being said, if you are looking for drop-in parts with an excellent result, you cannot go wrong here. Kit provides a very smooth trigger pull and crisp break. If you prefer to tailor parts to your pistol’s individual tolerances for maximum benefit, then you might prefer to get untreated trigger bar and fit/polish all components yourself.

Coupled with the install video, this kit is ridiculously easy to install. I love the option with Wilson Combat parts. I've installed the WC parts before and was interested in the LTT parts. The LTT parts went in great and the trigger pull and reset are dramatically improved. Very happy with the kit

This is my 3rd time installation of this product . A 92FS, 92X compact and the lasted was a 96A1. Double action trigger pull like butter. Better that striker guns. Single action pull insane. This is a must stock 92/96.

Not being overly mechanical, I had fear and trepidations about installing this myself, but decided to give it a try. After all, I could always just mail the parts to LTT if necessary! All went smoothly, except for getting the @#&** slide lever spring installed(always have a problem with that). Mine was one of the 5-10% that LTTs video says may not drop in DA mode, but I watched the video and it showed how to fit the trigger bar if your gun is in the minority . All worked well, and the improvement in the trigger was amazing. I will definitely start using my 92 more often. Amazing product, well worth the cost, and easy to install, even for the mechanically challenged. PS- trigger reset is amazingly short!
