LTT will cut your Glock slide for direct attachment of a red dot optic.

Our Glock RDO Cut is available for all Gen 3, 4, or 5 9mT & .40cal models. Optic cut options for full size (G17, G34, G45, etc) and compact (G19, G26, etc) models can choose between the Trijicon RMR/SRO (RMRcc does not fit) footprint, Holosun 509T footprint, or Aimpoint ACRO footprint; micro-compact models (G43, G43X, & G48) must receive the Holosun 407K footprint cut.
Our direct cut approach eliminates the need for an adapted plate and allows for the lowest possible mounting solution on Glock pistols. This service includes, prep, machining, recoating, and reassembly of your slide. You will need to include a copy of LTT Glock Custom Gun Work Form with your slide - you do not need to include a copy of your DL if you are just sending in a slide.

RDO SLIDE CUTS:

If you select the MOS Cut for you Glock, the rear sight will be forward of the MOS cut and is not compatible with an SRO Optic.

If you select a Direct Cut (footprint specific), this is a direct machining of the existing slide - it is not reversible and will only function with the family of optics that fit the specific footprint chosen. The rear sight will be behind the optic unless you specify otherwise. You can write on your form, direct mill with rear sight forward for all footprints.  IF YOU SEND IN YOUR SLIDE and forget to write this is, we will not be able to change it. Aimpoint ACRO and Steiner MPS - the rear sight MUST be in front of the optic for direct cut slides.

WHAT MAKES THE LOW RDO FROM LTT DIFFERENT?

Langdon Tactical’s Low RDO is a game changer when it comes to mounting a red dot on your 92/M9/96 Series gun as low as possible.

Introduced in 2020, LTT’s 92 RDO solution quickly set the standard in pistol optics. Our patented solution includes a full redesign of the internal components of the 92/96 series pistol in order to properly low-mount the optic. With a dot height of just .85 above the centerline of the bore (with a Trijicon RMR), it is one of the lowest mounting systems for any pistol and THE lowest for the 92 series of pistols. This allows the shooter a natural point of aim, a more secure mounted plate and optic, and a lighter operating system for the gun as it cycles. LTT’s proprietary plate sits farther back on the slide when compared to other 92 RDO solutions on the market, allowing for optics like the Trijicon SRO and RMR HD to NOT hang over the breach face and interfere with the ejection pattern of brass. Further, the lower, lighter plate is more secure with three mounting screws and proper thread engagement.

The LTT Beretta 92 LOW RDO Solution is patented in the US as of May 2023.

WHAT IS THE LTT REAR SIGHT FORWARD (RSF) OPTIC PLATE?

LTT is proud to offer a limited selection of our optics footprints in a rear sight forward (RSF) configuration. Having the rear sight in front of the optic window decreases visual clutter, making it easier to remain focused on the target during the shooting process. Placing the rear sight forward of the optic also means that you can see the dot in 100% of the window, because none of your view of the optic is obstructed by the rear sight. Finally, the RSF configuration can help keep the front lens of your optic clean by deflecting some of the carbon, gas, and debris that exits the chamber away from the lens.

Looking for replacement screws? You can find them here.

NOTE: These plates will not fit on the Beretta M9A4 or 92X RDO solutions AS IT COMES from Beretta. These will only work with LTT’s proprietary RDO solution.

Sorry, We Cannot Accept ANY Returns on RDO Plates.

Exactly what I wanted, no long waits or BS

Posted by Dan on Oct 29th 2022

This is not a fully detailed review. If an optics cut is bad, I will be the first to tell you my "bad" experience. What attracted me to LTT to get my Glock 17 (Gen 5) cut done, was two factors: speed of time and overall cost. LTT excelled at both. I am impressed with the fit and finish of my Holosun: Solid fit, absolutely no wiggle and very professional metal cutting (no cut lines are visible). The color of the slide is perfect, no color variation at all. I will be sending a few more Glock slides to be cut in the future and I highly recommend LTT for optics cutting. Hopefully they will expand their cutting options to other guns in the future. I just hope they can maintain this fast turn around in the future...once people start reading reviews like mine (hint, hint not like another company located in the same state as Ford Motor Co.). One advice piece which everybody should do is make sure to request a signature for receipt for any gun items you send...keeps the delivery companies on task to deliver your items to an actual person.
