Better than factory magazines
The factory Beretta magazines that came with my 92 FS Compact are good magazines - I have no problems with them at all. The Mec Gar magazines are better in a number of ways. First, the version I got was the 15-round variety. These fit flush and have the same profile as the factory 13-round magazines. All of the Mec Gar magazines feel like they have a bit of extra spring power when compared to the Beretta factory magazines. They also have a much nicer series of holes and markings on the back to very easily tell exactly how many rounds are in the magazine. I use the Beretta factory magazines as my training mags. For carry and competitions, I use Mec Gar.
