The LTT Optimized Performance Hammer is a seemingly simple component that can completely change the way your Beretta 92 or PX4 shoots. The OP Hammer improves on your factory hammer in every measurable way:

TRIGGER PULL: The OP Hammer has similar pre-travel-reducing geometry to the Beretta Match hammer, but it improves on the Match hammer by modifying the sear geometry and wire-EDM cutting the sear surfaces from tool steel for the most precise engagement possible. The OP and OS hammers do not reduce pre-travel as much as the Match hammer. This is intentional to make sure that the firing pin block will always engage without the need to fit the hammer. 

TRIGGER WEIGHT: The OP hammer’s overall mass and mass distribution is carefully designed to maximize firing pin indent with reduced-power hammer springs, while minimizing lock time. When used in combination with LTT RDO slides, the OP Hammer can achieve firing pin energy equivalent to increasing your hammer spring by 0.5 pounds (with an Elite 2 hammer) up to 3 pounds (92FS/M9 hammer). It also improves lock time by 10-15% over other hammers with the same hammer spring weight. This means that you can decrease your trigger pull weight and still ignite primers reliably!

  I run the LTT 12.5 recoil spring and tungsten guide rod with 124g ammo. I also tested with 115g FMJ and 147 FMJ. With the 147, the 11.5lb recoil spring produced the softest feel in combination with the hammer and 10lb hammer spring. -Jarrod Murrieta, RavenWing Limited

The LTT Optimized Performance Hammer MUST be used with either the LTT Optimized Performance Trigger Bar OR the Beretta Xtreme S Trigger Bar AND the Match Hammer MUST also be installed either by LTT or another qualified gunsmith.
