The Wilson Combat Compact Guide Rod will not work in L-Model (or later) Compact or Centurion 92s, including the M9A3, M9A4, 92X, and Elite LTT Compact & Centurion guns.

    This guide rod fit perfect in my M9. I dont know that it improved the function of the pistol but i have no doubt it improved long term reliability.

    I wanted my M9 to match as closely as possible my service pistol from the Marine Corps. I did not like that my personal M9 came with a polymer guide rod. I have seen no increase in performance with this purchase, which I knew would be the case. But performance upgrade wasn't the point of the purchase...
