Wilson steel guide rod
Just what my Beretta 92X needed. I wanted to upgrade the plastic guide rod and Wilson seemed like a great choice.

Wilson fluted solid steel guide rod. 92/96 Berretta
Ordered 1 of each the black and inox versions. My initial thought out of the package is these are made extremely well, and obviously handled as a premium item. The stainless guide rod that the inox replaced in my brand new ltt elite had been dinged up and was rough to say the least. Although the factory rod was smooth where it counted, it wasn't coated or fluted and had either a heavy side or was slightly bent. The new inox rod and the anodized black are definitely straight as arrows. The black went into my FDE m9a3 and it looks perfect...as far as guide rods are concerned. One thing I noticed is that both finishes are NOT as slick as the stainless rod or the fantastic plastic rod, but I realized that a thin coat of light grease or oil stayed in place on the rod because of the slight matte finish rather than being pushed to either end of the spring on the stainless rod. The plastic rod was warped and only contacted the spring in a few places. Definitely a huge upgrade over factory rods of any kind. Be sure to buy new springs!!! Seriously. It's a must have. I'd advise to get factory weight and one # lighter so you can decide what you like better. The silicone factory weight definitely added rigidity to the assembly. Definitely need to order a set of lighter silicone springs for both of my berrettas now, hope I save someone some time.
