Wish it was included with the pistol

I've wanted the large release button for my PX4s for a long time and finally decided to get it for my do-it-yourself Compact Carry upgrade. This is a genuine Beretta part that installs easily. I'm really liking it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that Beretta should sell these as individual pieces since the small is already stock equipment.

    Different but not sure better

Very unique and easy way to change. For my small hands even with largest button on left side I have to shift grip to drop mag. Currently reversed the largest button to use with trigger finger. To me money well spent.

    Does its job

This greatly improves usability of the PX4, but realistically should only come with the large extended version, as the mid-length is only slightly larger than the standard and the standard would already be included with your gun.

    Extended magazine release button

I can tell that much like the PX4 itself these parts are made correctly as they all come from the same great factory. However as I was installing the "extended" version of the mag release button, and holding the pressure against the spring and inserting the "dead cover" on the non-release button side something must have been slightly out of alignment as i cracked off part of the "teeth" or "4 prong" end of the button. Just a stupid rookie mistake I guess. I will have to look into getting another one, and wear my reading glasses and do this surgery under a nice bright light. Thanks for being there for us all.
