LTT Chrome Silicon Recoil Spring

Chrome Silicon Recoil Spring for the 92 Full-Size, Compact and Centurion.

Not sure whether to choose the 12.5#, 11.5# or 14#? The 12.5# should be used for EDC and the most commonly purchased. The 11.5# is typically used for competition with low-powered ammunition. The 14# Should be used in the 92 Compact and Centurion.

    Chrome Silicone recoil spring

I didn't think a spring could be made in such a way that would make it superior. Obviously, it's what you make it out of that will increase durability, but how it's made is what's going to give you even compression along the entire length of the spring. From my observation these springs compress more evenly per coil and do not bunch up in certain places like factory springs do. Definitely order yourself a factory weight and a lighter spring along with the Wilson guide rods. You'll thank me later.

    LTT Chrome Silicon Recoil Spring

The LTT Chrome Silicon Recoil Spring fit like a glove and is visibly different but overall size it is the same... I ordered the 12.5 pound spring which is a little less than the 14# stock spring in the Beretta 92X...that I have and It definitely made racking the gun a tad bit easier than it was my goal., I didn't want my 92X to have shell ejection issues based on what usually happens if one goes with too light of recoil spring...overall I'm very happy with my purchase

Works as it should. Factory replacement for most full size 92’s running standard pressure or higher 9mm. Replaced the stock spring after exceeding 5000rds. No complaints, slide action feels smooth as it should. Thank you Langdon for prompt order conformation and quick shipping.

Great spring for lighter competition loads

I bought the 11.5 spring for sub-sonic competition loads for IDPA and it cycles the slide much more smoothly and reliably. Money well spent.

Works great! I just installed this spring with a new steel guide rod and ran 200 rounds through it yesterday. Flawless

    Smooth spring

Installed the 11.5 recoil spring and it definitely helped bring the front sight back on target quicker. Not as aggressive recoil pulse. Thank LTT.

    Simple Upgrade

Posted by Steven Horton on May 8th 2019

I read online guidance from Spencer Keepers not to expect too much from swapping out the stock recoil spring with a silicone recoil spring. I believe this to be an accurate statement. That being said, the spring did further soften an already soft recoil on my M9 albeit marginally. For the price it is hard to go wrong on this purchase and only time will tell if there is an increase in parts wear on the gun.
