    Silicon Hammer Spring

Posted by Patrick Bell on Apr 24th 2019

I bought this for my 92 compact. I bought the #13 spring. It feels between the trigger on my Elite LTT 92 and my M9A3. Excellent spring that improves the compact trigger, making it smooth and less heavy.

13# Chrome Silicon (CS) Hammer Spring

Posted by CenturionLover on Mar 4th 2019

Have a '92 Centurion that I bought used for $450. Detail stripped it, and polished the hammer/strut/sear/trigger bar (1500 grit sandpaper & Flitz w/Q-tips). Reassembled with Wilson flat wire recoil and CS trigger return/extractor/firing pin springs (used factory springs for the rest). Also installed a new locking block. Took her to the range, and she ran like a scalded cat! Never leaving 'well enough' alone, I then wanted to reduce the DA pull. Tried out a 'D' spring; it was okay. Then a range buddy suggested I try one of LTT's springs. Via e-mail I asked them which one I should install, given I was using a stock hammer and it would serve as a carry pistol (i.e., it needs to ignite whatever I load it with). They recommended the 13#. 2000 rounds later, I've got a DA pull like greased butter (yes, I said that) and not a single light strike - not even with the Monarch (PPU) FMJs I got from Academy. Seriously considering giving the 12# a whirl!

    12# Hammer Spring PX4

Posted by Mark D on Sep 15th 2018

Really nice improvement over the factory hammer spring. DA is slightly lighter but much smoother. SA is crisp. Installs very easily and the 12# spring has reliably ignited a variety of primers in my full size PX4. Highly recommended upgrade.
