Beretta 92 G Model Conversion Kit

If you're installing this on a Brigadier slide, be advised that you will have to do some serious fitting to the right lever. When driving in the roll pin (last step of installation) the lever will bind against the slide, making it nearly impossible to move. When I contacted Langdon Tactical about this they said it was an issue of tolerance stacking, but the new one they sent had the same problem. There are other reports of this on the internet. If you have some patience with a small file, a fine grit stone, and some cold blue you can make it work. I only need to fit the right lever. I removed some material from the edge of the cylindrical part (perhaps unnecessarily) and a lot from the underside of the lever itself, then touched up with a little cold blue. It now works as it should and doesn't rub against the slide.

Hello, I purchased this, arrived within a week, good quality. Used J Helmsing's video on youtube to learn how to install it. Had to do it twice because when I disassembled the slide, a part of the firing pin came out that I did not know needed to be put back in. So I got it all installed, it didn't work, then I realized and took it apart, put the piece back in, then put it back together again. Whole process took me about three and a half hours. If you're good at this stuff it should take you less, and bear in mind that I had to do it twice.

Excellent product!!!!! Works great. The only thing is the whole assembly is black in color but plungers are gray. Other than that it’s good quality.

Must have patience to install works flawless

I bought this to make my thumb happy as I trained to use my legacy INOX 92FS in a competition. Mission Accomplished! Now that I have it, I think it is absolutely needed if you intend to do any holster work with your 92. Installation was not as bad as I feared. I used the "Beretta 92 G Conversion Installation / DIY" YouTube video from J Helmsing, and I got it installed without drama. Thanks EL!

Easy conversion. Practical solution.

I decided to tackle this myself, and drum roll please, it wasn't really a big deal to install. It took me about 20 minutes, but I was sitting at my desk watching a YouTube video (J Helmsing channel) for step by step instructions. I think this could easily be a 10 minute job with a little experience. All you'll need is a small punch and hammer, and a small screwdriver to help mash a detent down. The kit comes with two of every spring and detent, Beretta must figure you'll launch one into orbit doing the install. I think the average gun owner can do this conversion without too much difficulty. Just sit there and watch the video, take your time, and you can save yourself a month wait for a gunsmith to do it for you.
