Not typical FS Safety/ Does not sit at normal angle.
I ordered this to switch to a typical F style safety. It does operate the same as an F style safety but after install I found the levers do not sit at the normal 9 O'clock and 3 O'clock position. This safety, in the Fire position, rests with the levers at 10 O'clock and 2 O'clock position. In other words they tilt upward more than normal. When I asked LTT to review this thinking the part was defective "JS" stated this was not a defect. He claims it is an intentional redesign to help prevent unintentional activation of the safety when manipulating the slide using an overhand top grip to move the slide backward. It does not operate any differently than a typical F style safety but this is something they need to document in their ad. It may not be for everyone astatically.
