    Not compatible with 92xrdo

Posted by Evan on Jul 9th 2022

I purchased this hammer for my 92x rdo and it apparently is not compatible. Even with factory hammer spring it would not ignite any 9mm primers. Tried several types of ammo. It would make the faintest of marks on the primer. Put factory hammer in and it works.

    Wilson Combat Deluxe Hammer

I know this part is NOT made by LTT, and it's a pass thru item.. This is suppose to be a drop in part, no fitting reqd, but the hammer strut slot is too narrow and will not allow the factory strut to slide in. Inspection shows the slot to be .011 narrower than a factory Beretta hammer slot. I'm very disappointed that WC's QC dept let this part out in their product line. I've sent Customer Service of both WC & LTT details of the problem. Just waiting on a response..

    Easy upgrade nice looks

The hammer dropped right in without any fitting required. I stoned the friction surface a bit just to give it a bit smoother travel. Shoots in double action and single action flawlessly

Well made, but not a great improvement

The main ideas behind this hammer are improved primer strike force and shorted trigger slack. I can't feel the difference in trigger slack. I won't take it out, but I don't think there's enough better than the Elite II hammer to pick it for other than aesthetics.
