    Awesome Trigger Spring

Posted by Mark Winegarden on Feb 24th 2020

I have tried the Wilson and the Wolf springs. The main difference I saw with this one, is Langdon actually takes the time to polish the pad where the spring contacts the trigger arm. I thought that was a nice added attention to detail bonus. I can't believe that anyone would need a lighter pull than this 13# spring. I think it is as easy as my kids' cap guns. I did some smoothing for the double action contact points with 7000 grit, and this trigger is better than I have ever felt. I can't wait to install the LTT trigger bar!

I bought the 12# hammer spring for my 92F Compact. Installation was quick and easy. Did it the night before doing my license to carry class and was not able to test before I used it to do my range shooting for the class, so the first double action shot I did was crazy light compared to what the trigger felt like previously. It is a huge improvement and I definitely recommend that anyone with a 92 series get this upgrade!

    CHROME SILICON HAMMER SPRING (#12)

Worked perfectly... use this spring on both my PX4 FS and 92G LTT Elite. 1000 rounds between the two and no light primer strikes yet.

    12# Chrome silicon hammer spring

Posted by Mark Andrew Smith on Dec 19th 2019

I bought a #11 and a #12. At $8 and $12. I was afraid the 11 might be a little light but couldn't find an 11.5. Actually the 11 is perfect. It averaged my single action trigger pull at 3.32 and double at 7.96. If you shoot +P loads go with the 12. The #11 likes to double tap for you now and then if you use hot loads

12# hammer spring combined with the LTT optimized trigger bar made my 92 feel like a double/single action 1911. $ well spent!

    12 lbs Hammer Spring

Posted by JOHN MCCARTHY on Dec 16th 2019

I bought the new Beretta 92x Performance and while it has a good trigger it wasn't as light as others have reported. So after watching Ernests' YouTube video on hammer springs I ordered a couple of his Chrome Silicon springs, an 11 and 12 lbs. I installed the 12 lbs spring in my 92x Performance and it dropped the DA weight by about a pound and the DA pull by 3/4 lbs making the trigger now what I'd call great. I like the trigger so much now with the 12 lbs spring I didn't even think about trying the lighter 11 lbs spring. Plus the 12 lbs spring was 100% reliable with all the ammo I tried in my pistol.
