The best mags I have used - better than Beretta mags, and WAY better than Checkmate/military-issue mags. The anti-friction coating makes a difference you can feel, and the individual round count indicator is great! No problem loading to full capacity, and flawless function.
Since first learning about the 18-round mec-gars I’ve never once gone back to the standard 15 round mags. Ernest has a great video describing the benefits of different mags, but I don’t think you can oversell what an upgrade these mags are over the stock ones. Not only do you get 3 additional rounds, but the finish is slicker and better for reloads, and the redesign of the lip mags it much less likely to hang up during your reloads. For competition and edc the only mags I run are these, and have had no issues with them whatsoever.
I have used these magazines for a few years, they are my favorite for the 92 series pistols. LTT has a great price on them so l am going to add 2 or 3 on every order to stockpile a few.
Ernest is spot on with his recommendation for these magazines. I have a 92X Centurion and I just ran 200 rounds through the 18 round Mec-Gar magazines I just bought from Langdon. Not a single issue with them. Plus, I get 1 more round than the Beretta original magazine! The Mec-Gar magazines were easier to fill to capacity than the Beretta magazines too. The way the follower is designed probably has something to do with that.
They have a smooth, slippery feel, almost like a PVD model without the added expense. “Made in Italy” is very cool to slide into my beautiful Italian Beretta too!
All in all, I would buy these magazines for all of my pistols if they only made them! You cannot go wrong with these mags!
These Magazines work flawlessly with my 92FS, I have 2 with the black finish and 2 with NP3 finish. The Np3 if you can afford it definitely slides in and out of the gun smoother though. These are my go to magazines from now on.
These magazines are phenomenal, much better coating than factory Beretta mags, and very easy to load.
